In early 2024 we set out to add a flexible addition to our racks that would utilize the empty headroom between the truck bed and the underside of our 24.5” rack; a perfect compliment to the most modular bed rack on the market. Months of design iterations and ideas has lead us to the MOLLE Side Pod; let’s check it out!

What is a MOLLE Side Pod?

The MOLLE Side Pod (MSP)  is a vestibule made completely of MOLLE panels delivering unparalleled versatility. The MSP integrates seamlessly into our 24.5” bed rack on any truck bed. It is designed to mount accessories directly to all sides of it as well as hard cases from companies like Pelican. The possibilities are endless. The MSP makes a great spot for items like recovery equipment, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, med kits, tool boxes, and really anything that can be mounted on a panel.

How to Use the MOLLE Side Pod

1. Mount the Side Pod: Securely attach the MSP to your truck bed rack using the provided mounting hardware. The MSP is adjustable in nearly every direction making install a breeze. Consult the installation manual for more detailed instructions
2. Attach Pouches and Gear: Utilize the MOLLE webbing attachment points to attach various pouches, gear, and accessories to the Side Pod. Our unique MOLLE pattern also accepts ¼-20 carriage bolts in the slots to hard-mount accessories. 
3. Organize Your Gear: Customize your storage setup by arranging your gear in a way that best suits your needs and preferences. We store and mount items like tool boxes, med kits, fire extinguishers, recovery gear, and camp items in our MSP’s.
