FAQs
Will the T Series Bed Rack fit my truck?
Absolutely. The TRUKD T Series is compatible with most popular trucks including Tacoma, Tundra, F-150, Ranger, Colorado, Silverado, Ram, Ridgeline, Gladiator, and more. Just select your truck’s make, model, and bed length during checkout and we’ll handle the rest. Still unsure? Contact our team for personalized fit confirmation.
What makes the TRUKD T Series Bed Rack different from the A Series?
The T Series is TRUKD’s most modular and customizable bed rack system. It features height-adjustable uprights, channel-mounted accessories, and multiple configuration options—perfect for those who want a rack that adapts to changing gear, setups, or trucks. Unlike the fixed-height A Series, the T Series is engineered to grow with your rig and your adventures.
How hard is it to install the T Series rack?
The TRUKD T Series is designed for DIY installation using basic tools—no drilling required for most trucks. Every rack ships with detailed instructions and all required hardware, and we’ve got install videos if you need a hand. Setup usually takes about 60–90 minutes, and our support team is ready if you run into questions.
Can I transfer my T Series rack to a different truck later?
Yes—just order a new bracket kit for your new truck model. The T Series core rack system stays with you, saving you money over time. It’s one of the only bed rack systems designed to be reused and reconfigured for future rigs.
How much weight can the T Series support?
The T Series Bed Rack is rated to hold 1,000 lbs static / 300 lbs dynamic, making it strong enough for rooftop tents, recovery gear, cargo boxes, and overland setups. It’s real-world tested and trail-proven.
Are T Series racks compatible with Toppers or Tonneau covers?
Yes—with inside-the-rail tonneau covers like DiamondBack, Retrax, BAKFlip, and Softopper, the T Series mounts cleanly above or around them depending on your setup. It's also compatible with many camper shells and toppers—just make sure to choose the right height for clearance.
Can I start simple and upgrade the T Series later?
Yes. The T Series is intentionally designed to be future-proof. You can start with a basic setup and add side mounts, MOLLE panels, extra crossbars, tool mounts, RotopaX holders, and more—whenever you're ready. Every rack is compatible with TRUKD’s full line of accessories.
How much weight can the T Series Bed Racks support?
TRUKD Bed Racks are engineered to handle serious loads—on and off the road.
- While driving: Supports up to 250 lbs per set (125 lbs per crossbar)
- When parked: Rated up to 1,000 lbs per set (500 lbs per crossbar)
Perfect for rooftop tents, gear, and adventure setups. For heavier setups—especially if you're off-roading—we recommend adding bed stiffeners to protect your truck bed and frame from stress and flex.
