TRUKD Unveils Long-Awaited Modular Bed Cap Prototype at Overland Expo West 2026

HUNKER, PA — TRUKD, the Pennsylvania-based innovator known for its modular truck bed rack systems and overland-ready accessories, is officially unveiling the highly anticipated TRUKD Bed Cap Prototype at the 2026 Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona.

After years of demand from TRUKD customers and overland enthusiasts, the new modular Bed Cap system expands the company’s popular A-Series rack platform into a fully enclosed, weather-sealed truck bed solution designed for adventure, utility, and everyday functionality.

Built on the proven strength of the TRUKD A-Series framework, the new Bed Cap combines rugged durability with modular flexibility, allowing truck owners to evolve their setup over time without sacrificing capability or style.

The TRUKD Bed Cap features:

• Integrated A-Series rack framework with a 400 lb. dynamic / 1,000 lb. static load rating
• Gullwing side access doors for fast gear access
• Tinted rear plexiglass hatch and cab enclosure
• Accessory-compatible side panels for mounting fuel, tools, recovery gear, and accessories
• Lightweight stainless steel and aluminum construction
• Fully modular design that allows customers to start with an A-Series rack and expand into a complete cap system over time.

Every TRUKD Bed Cap is engineered and manufactured in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania using 304 stainless steel uprights, aluminum crossbars, and lightweight aluminum enclosure panels to create a strong, yet lightweight enclosed system built for long-term durability.

Attendees at Overland Expo West 2026 will be among the first to see the prototype in person and secure their place in line. TRUKD will officially begin accepting deposits at the event, with production units expected to begin shipping in Fall 2026.
